rufus is a cunningly clever canine who's not afraid of an alliteration or two, with a surprisingly sharp eye for design.

he's a very particular flat-coated retriever (yes, his cousin won crufts), so insists on the highest quality card and envelopes, printed using vegan-friendly inks on 100% recyclable materials.

view by rufus began with a simple belief: greetings cards should make people smile. after decades working in design and running an independent gift shop, we wanted to create a collection that combined original humour, thoughtful illustration and cards that genuinely sell — not just look good in a catalogue.

every view by rufus card is first tested in our own independent gift shop in thames ditton before joining the wholesale collection. more than 100,000 of rufus's cards have been sold from that one small shop in just over five years, giving him a remarkably good nose for what customers love.
